What impressed me most was Sheri’s calm approach and how she focused on my individual needs throughout the lesson. Her patient guidance made it easier to absorb new tips and techniques. Sheri Hayes is a fantastic golf instructor. I can’t praise her enough. When I first approached Sheri, I asked her if she could teach a beginner who had never played any type of sports–not to mention the fact that I was 70 years old. She just smiled and said that she could certainly teach me. I then started receiving a half hour lesson once a week, and attended her supervised practice sessions on Saturdays. During the week, I practiced what she had taught me. After two months, I decided to quit renting clubs and get clubs fitted to my short stature. Sheri gave me a custom fitting and helped me select what was best for me, which has worked out perfectly. Within three months, I was able to start playing golf at a regular golf course and was able to keep right up with my partner. I had been told that I was too old to learn and that it would hurt me. Not only am I learning, I have never injured myself because Sheri made sure that I moved my body the correct way right from the beginning. Sheri takes a step by step approach that has enabled me to steadily progress. She has an uncanny ability to take one look at my swing and instantly tell me what I am doing wrong. Her video tapes of my swing enable me to see exactly where I need to improve. Golf is a very challenging and a lot of fun. I highly recommend Sheri Hayes for anyone who wants to learn how to golf or to improve their game.

I have worked with Sheri Hayes for about eight years now, her coaching has helped me progress from an average collegiate player to a potential LPGA and LET player. Sheri’s ability to adjust and adapt as my game progresses is the key to my improvement, there is no just one way of teaching, sheri finds analogies and ideas that i as an individual can relate to which is very unique is my past experiences with coaches. Sheri is more than just a coach to me, she is my friend, my sports psychologist and my mentor, someone that wants me to succeed as much as i do. When I came to see Sheri Hayes 5 years ago, I was a self taught 16 index player had a goal to be a scratch golfer, but still hadn’t really gotten past breaking 90…..today I am a +0.3 index player, every year I have cut my index in half and could not have done it without Sheri’s help, she is the only teacher I have ever had. I now see her every 3 or 4 months for swing maintenance and of course to brag how someone 5’8” and 150lbs can consistently hit the ball in excess of 280 yards and play male power golf with a woman golf teacher!

I can’t find enough good to say about Sheri Hayes, the master of all instructors. Sheri invariably can detect my flaw in an instant and give me useful pointers to fix it. While practicing I have observed her working with students at all levels, and she is remarkable in her ability to adjust her teaching approach to the student’s skill level and learning style. Her sense of humor relaxes me no matter how well (or otherwise !) I am doing that day. We need more like her. Sheri is the greatest!!!!
