I have been golfing for about 8 years now, and played varsity golf all throughout high school. I also analyzed multiple golfers for my senior project, and have been giving informal lessons to various age ranges for the past few years despite not being a golf professional. Most importantly, I recognize golf is a tough game, and my patience with all my students thus far has created a great environment to see where they start, where they want to be, and how best to get there.

Your first lessonFoundation is key. I see where you are at and where you want to go to establish a game plan for the coming lessons. I also try to improve a couple things right away to get you excited about improving your game!

Lesson 2-3An expansion from lesson one’s foundation into some other key swing mechanics/mental imagery. Depending on how you tend to learn, I also introduce a couple analytical ideas to expedite growth.

Working with kidsEvery kid is different! Whether they want to learn just the basics or a little more, I can teach them in a way that is easily understood and fun.
Working with teenagersI balance skill development with the social and competitive aspects that appeal to this age group. I believe golf teaches you things that apply to many aspects of life, and I take that seriously when it comes to preparing them for their future. We will talk about their goals and I will tailor my lessons to their needs.
