With three decades of experience on the greens and a notable 8 handicap, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to my role as a golf coach. I'm proud to be USGTF certified, a testament to my dedication and expertise in this sport. I have been taking golf lessons from Russell for the past year and I am so happy with the results. His teaching style is very hands-on and he really takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense to me. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson, I work on the fundamentals of the golf swing. They are grip, posture, and alignment. I also start with putting.
Lesson 11+Continue to work on putting, chipping, and pitching,and continue improving their irons, woods, and driver.
Lesson 4-10They will learn the different types of pitch shots for 15, 25, 35, 50, and 80 yards. As they progress with the full swing, they will learn how to hit hybrids, 3 and 5 woods,and the driver.
Lesson 2-3I teach two different types of chipp shots, and continue to work on the full swing.
What you need to bringDress comfortably for the golf course. Wear a hat, sunscreen, sneakers if you don't have golf shoes.
What I can bringI can provide a Pitching Wedge , 9 and 7 iron, and a putter.
