About your golf coach
Im a current Divison 1 Golfer at Texas Southern University with a passion for developing the next generation of players. Im a certified First Tee Level 1 Coach, trained to work with junior golfers aged 7-9. I also am able to coach up to high school aged junior golfers. Whether you are looking to start for the very first time or build upon your current skillset I can do it all! As a college athlete, I bring up to date knowledge about the game and the recruiting process of playing college golf.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGet familiar with the club, how the body moves, and how it functions in a golf swing. Build a proper grip, stance, and posture while making slow, controlled full swings to feel the motion.
Lesson 2-3Refine the full swing with ball contact using irons. Focus on body rotation, club path, and developing a repeatable swing. Introduce the driver and woods to build confidence with longer clubs.
Lesson 4-10Begin the short game starting with putting green reading, face control, and distance. Progress to chipping with small, controlled swings around the green, developing feel and consistency close to the hole.
Lesson 11+Advance to pitching, starting with small swings and gradually building to fuller pitch shots. Combine all skills on the course full swing, putting, chipping, and pitching learning to manage a hole from tee to green.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonStart with a full assessment watching ball flight, swing shape, and shot patterns to identify the biggest limiters. We establish baseline stats and set clear, measurable goals so every lesson has a purpose.
Lesson 2-3Dig into the primary swing faults identified in lesson one. Use drills and feedback tools to build new movement patterns, focusing on the one or two changes that will have the biggest impact on scoring.
Lesson 4-10Refine all areas of the game with intention full swing, short game, and course management. Introduce advanced short game techniques including trajectory control, spin, and shot selection around the green. Practice under simulated pressure to build consistency.
Lesson 11+Shift focus to performance and scoring. Work on the mental side, pre-shot routine, and playing to strengths on the course. Fine-tune wedge distances, putting from all ranges, and develop a personal game plan the student can take into competition.
Youth players
Working with kidsI keep lessons fun, active, and simple — using games and challenges to hold attention while building real skills. Through my work with First Tee, I’ve taught kids as young as 7, so I know how to break down the swing into age-appropriate steps and keep energy levels high. Short sessions with lots of positive reinforcement go a long way.
Working with teenagersTeenagers respond well to clear goals and seeing real progress, so I focus on building a repeatable swing they can feel confident with. My First Tee experience with teens up to 18 means I understand how to balance technique with competition and fun. I meet them where they are whether they’re brand new or looking to play on their school team.
