Beginner training plan

Your first lessonWe sit down and ask the student what their goals are and, what type of effort does they plan to put into it, at that point we can determine a coarse they feel comfortable with. At that point the lesson begins. Five swings recorded and we sit down and he tells me what he sees and them I point out what I see and how we can address the most important thing issue first. Then formulate a plan TOGETHER, they will enjoy investing time in

Lesson 11+About now the student should be ready for his first "playing lesson" and will have one of the funnest days ever. Every shot, praised and evaluated and they will never approach the FIRST-TEE again in without a new found excitement that comes with the realization of REAL improvement

How it works

Lesson 4-10The beginner will start to not only see immediate improvement but will get a thorough and complete understanding of the golf swing in general and specifically the nuances of his own swing

Lesson 2-3Well the second and third lesson are now the time to start introducing simple principles that will be reflected in their game. I STRESS that you practice as you play, and you play like you practice. Set-up, clearing your mind before the shot, never swinging the club until your ready, start VISUALIZEING your shots, start telling me the "shot you want to craft and we will work on it. We will hit five balls with one club and rotate from there on out, again to simulate the conditions on the course best you can

Youth players

Working with teenagersWell I start off working on simple moves that are common to all sports, learning how to generate power with your hips. During this time,, I would do a brief athletic assessment to make sure my plan is correct. Then again let them take five swings on video and give them a Complete UNDERSTANDING of the golf swing and theirs in particular .. I make sure it is a FUN coaching session. Again this is tough assessment, it's not a one hat fits all situation

What you need to bringThe student has to have clubs that reflect the commitment he is willing to make. Clubs that are somewhat matched to the students goals. There is; absolutely no way to improve with clubs that aren't fit for you. We can do an equipment assessment during our first complimentary lesson.

What I can bringA couple simple teaching aids is all I need, like a towel

Over 50 years competing at the highest levels of Amateur Championship Golf with a +3 handicap. I've spent decades studying the swing under some of the best instructors in the country—my favorite was Wayne DeFrancesco (Google him!). My coaching blends old-school fundamentals with modern tools like video analysis to track your progress. I focus on both the physical and mental side of the game to help you break through your limits. Remember: what the mind can conceive, the body will achieve.
