Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, we will go over the students swing and see what they are able to do. Then we will begin to change small things in their swing.
Lesson 11+Continue the same routine and ask the student if they have anything specific they would like to work on, or something they are struggling with.
Lesson 4-10We will continue to enforce positive change in the students swing. We will also look to play a round to test what the student has learned.
Lesson 2-3We will dive a little deeper into what needs to be changed and enforce those changes.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will take a look at what the student can do. See what kind of problems the player is having with their swing. We will start with making small changes.
Lesson 11+We will continue working with the students on any issues they are having with their game.
Lesson 4-10As we continue to enforce those changes, we will start playing rounds in order to see if the changes have affected the students game in a positive way.
Lesson 2-3We will continue to make changes and begin reinforcing those changes.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen I work with kids, I like to turn each part of golf into a little game. I do start by teaching kids the how to hold the club, how to putt and chip, then move on to the golf swing.
Working with teenagersI first want to see if the teen is able to swing the club. Get a feel of their natural swing. Then I begin adjusting their grip, stance, and posture. Then we will get into how to properly swing the club.
