Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson, I will start by getting to know why you would come in for a lesson and what your eventual goals are. We would do a quick video analysis with your swing (7 iron) from down-the-line view and compare with a tour pro side-by-side. I will fix one part of the swing that’s the most outstanding to me. A drill will be assigned at the end of the lesson for practice.
Lesson 11+The remaining lessons will involve combining what we learned altogether onto an actual course play. We will go out and play a couple holes at Bay View Golf Club and find out which part of the game needs improvement and the next lesson will dial in on improving what’s lacking.
Lesson 4-10Lesson 4-10 will demonstrate what low-point and club path are and why that is important at impact. Based on the progress of different individuals, chipping, driving and putting will be introduced after the 5th lesson.
Lesson 2-3Lesson 2-3 will focus on having a good grip, set up and alignment. Technique such as turning and tilting the shoulder in the backswing will be introduced. We will stay with the 7 iron.
