I’ve been golfing for over 30 years and as I grew older I’ve learned to maximize what I have. I’m 5’6” and though I consider myself an athlete, I do believe a good swing can be achieved by good fundamentals and what I call positioning. By ingraining certain aspects of a swing, we can continue to improve by doing. I’m just a low-handicap golfer who want to teach average golfers good fundamentals as a takeaway, so you can start to improve on your own. I’m not a teaching professional, but I was a design instructor at an art school for over 17 years, I hope I can make improving your golf game fun.

## Reviews

> My lesson with Megumi was great, especially since he focused on some precise swing adjustments, which helped clarify my approach. Though I still have some work ahead, the lesson highlighted a lot of useful points, and I’m feeling more confident about applying them on the course. Still, I look forward to building on these improvements gradually. Megumi has a good, steady way of guiding you through the mechanics. If you're interested in refining specific aspects of your game, it’s worth giving him a try!!

> I found Megumi's communication quite clear and appreciated how she helped me pinpoint specific technical mistakes in my golf swing, which was pretty helpful. Though I already had some understanding of my form, her insights made a noticeable difference, and I felt I learned quite a bit. Still, I think there's more to work on, so I plan to keep practicing with her guidance. I’d say if you’re looking for someone attentive to details, Megumi’s worth trying out.

> The lesson with Megumi was great! He’s really friendly and helps breakdown the complex motions into simpler steps that really helped with the understanding of it all. I appreciated his calm, practical approach. I still have a ton of work to do but I’m feeling more aware of what I need to change, which is promising. If you're thinking about booking a lesson, Megumi’s the option to consider.

> Do not hesitate to book. I had zero experience, and my natural motion was all bad, but Megumi had me making solid contact — straight and with lift! — by the end of my lesson. He’s a great teacher, supportive, patient, relaxed, funny and clearly gets joy and reward from seeing your progression. I’ll definitely continue lessons with him. Still in awe of what we accomplished today!

> Fresh start in a lesson that really matched my abilities, with clear focus on strengths, and a plan I can trust. Quick tempo, a hint of excitement, and I’m keen to tackle greens next. Been golfing for 5 months now, and I have improved my game dramatically. Just scored a 40 on a 9 hole course with a par 31. Will book more lessons to get more consistent and score below bogey golf.

> I think Megumi's lesson really stood out because he’s a great teacher, honest about progress and quite helpful overall. Though I still have some areas to work on, I feel more grounded in my fundamentals now. Still, I’m quite hopeful that with continued progress, I’ll get closer to my goals. If you want a thoughtful and practical approach to golf, Megumi’s worth trying out.
