I start by getting to know the student, their goals, and any previous experience. I focus on making them feel comfortable, explaining basic golf etiquette, grip, stance, and posture. The goal of the first lesson is to build confidence, keep it simple, and introduce the fundamentals in a relaxed and encouraging way.
In the remaining lessons, the focus shifts to polishing skills and building confidence on the course. Lessons become more personalized, targeting individual strengths and weaknesses. We work on consistency, mental approach, and playing smarter golf to help the student enjoy the game and continue improving long-term.
During lessons four through ten, students can expect steady progress and better consistency. We refine the full swing, improve short game skills, and introduce different clubs. I help students understand course strategy, shot selection, and how to manage common mistakes to improve overall performance.
In lessons two and three, we reinforce the fundamentals while introducing basic swing mechanics. The student will work on consistent contact, alignment, and balance. I also begin to introduce short game basics such as putting and chipping, always focusing on repetition and gradual improvement.
