Originally from Latvia, Laura moved to the U.S. to play collegiate golf at East Tennessee State University and went on to a nine-year professional career on the Ladies European, LPGA, and Australian LPG Tours, becoming the first golfer from Latvia to compete professionally full-time. After retiring from tour play, she joined the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals and earned certifications as a PGA Coach and an American Development Model Coach. Currently, Laura serves as the assistant women’s golf coach at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. Her competitive spirit and fun-loving approach make her a versatile instructor for golfers of all levels—from low handicappers aiming to sharpen their game to juniors taking their first swings. Laura emphasizes a well-rounded, athletic, and student-centered approach in her teaching, providing private lessons for juniors and adults, playing lessons, ladies’ clinics, beginner group lessons, junior summer camps, and weekly junior group sessions.
