Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGet to know the student and skills and knowledge of the game
Lesson 11+Trying to get out on the course more to understand the playability part of the game
Lesson 4-10Continue with getting in the right positions of the golf swing and really working on that impact position and knowledge of the different ball flights and how that occurs
Lesson 2-3Start out with overview and teach some basics. Grip Aim Posture. Work on getting the right technique started. Work on our chipping, pitching, and full swing
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids recommend the child be at least 5 or 6 and has the patience and attention span for at least 30 minutes. Been teaching junior golf for a long time and it’s all about keeping it fun and easy to understand
Working with teenagersWorking with teenagers can have its difficulties if they don’t want to learn the game. But if they are interested they typically have the attention span to really start grinding and understanding the game. They are easily able to go the hour with no issues
What you need to bringIf student has own clubs is preferred, water bottles, and appropriate golf attire if we are going to the course
What I can bringIf we are teaching in the park I have minimum flight balls and mats. Also have a few junior clubs that can be used
