Beginner training plan
Your first lessonTeach the proper grip. And swing mechanics.
Lesson 2-3Work through the bag, starting with a wedge. That's where drilling begins. And I have many drills I use. Depending on the student.
Lesson 4-10Get the proper distance with each iron. 3i or 4i though wedge. Finding bottom, where the club meets the ball. Until your striking without "thin" or "fat" shots.
Lesson 11+Fairway metals and driver. Then it's "finish time!" Chipping, sand play, and most importantly, putting! After we're done, you'll only see me if you develop a problem or just need a "tune up."

Mike came with distance issues between irons and a weak fade. I adjusted his grip. Changed his ball positions and over the course of a few weeks, he found the "bottom" of his swing. The last time I worked with Mike the weak fade was gone. He was striking the ball much better with authority!

What you need to bringBring a towel or two with your club's and shoes. Dress in golf attire. Please, No jeans! Dress comfortable for the weather . Bring your clubs and golf shoes. (Comfortable sneakers work) golf cleats are better.

About your golf coach

Teaching golf for the past 15 years and playing for 25+. Comfortable working with beginners and all the way to scratch golfers. I’m excited to help you improve your game. I also focus on golf etiquette, the absolute do's and do not's of the game. It's ALL about the ability to avoid trouble and capitalize from good positions. But the game inside the game is chipping and putting. I won the 1986 Strolo Farms Cup in Ocala, FL And won the 1995 Hillsborough county Sheriff's department Mounted Posse /Lykes Shoot Out Tournament in Plant City, FL I love the game and its history, and I'll do everything I can to preserve it!
