Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWhat we will do first is assess where you are, breakdown your goals into an initial 2-3 items, and then a plan to get there.
We must start with grip, stance, swing posture, and move towards consistent ball striking and putting as well as short game repetition.
Lesson 11+Determine the next set of goals, follow-ups, and determine how else you’d like to improve your game, swing thoughts, short game improvements, etc.
Lesson 4-10We can then start on progressing those goals and activities you can do on your own to keep practicing those drills.
Lesson 2-3We can start to execute our development plan on the first set of goals and explore golf course rules and etiquette.
Youth players
Working with kidsI try to find common language that they can associate with. I have two kids of my own that I’ve coached in various sports, school, and life.
Working with teenagersThis can be a challenge for parents, I get that based on my own kids. It might help to have someone else provide coaching and/or syncing up with the parents to understand what they would like to achieve. It’s all about communication.
What you need to bringPlease bring your own equipment if you have it as those are the best tools to learn with: golf clubs, golf shoes, glove, towel, water, etc.
