Jerry is able to really "see" a person--his or her value and needs--and then place that person in a key role that maximizes strengths and fosters growth in areas of weakness. The empathy Jerry possesses and the subsequent compassion he offers to hurting people are uniquely Christlike traits, which, in a culture that grows more self-seeking and cold with time, draw "ripe" people to to the Jesus in him. And maybe even most astonishing is that Jerry is the authentic version of himself regardless of the circumstances and his feelings; therefore Jerry is among the most trusted mentors/leaders I have ever known.
