I played on my high school golf team and spent countless hours practicing and studying all aspects of the game. I have a passion for the game, and I also enjoy teaching it to others. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe cover all the basics! Building solid fundamentals is key. This includes: Grip, Stance, Posture, Aim and Alignment, and Basic Swing Concepts and Techniques.
Lesson 4-10Assess your progress thus far (after 3 lessons) and a game plan for the next 3 lessons. At this junction, some students need to continue with drills and swing mechanics, others need to move the focus to short game practice, and some are ready to play on the course and do an interactive course lesson. It all depends on the student!
Lesson 2-3Continue building on the foundation from Lesson 1 by implementing various drills and key swing concepts. I also utilize training aids with these drills. We begin the process of fine tuning your swing, addressing the areas that need the most improvement and focus. I will typically video record your swing from different angles that we use for slow-motion feedback and analysis.
What you need to bring-Your golf clubs (anything that you currently own and use, or would like to learn how to use)
-A golf glove (if you’re right handed, you need a glove for your left hand)
-Shoes that have good grip on the soles. Tennis shoes at a minimum. If you have spikes, or hybrid golf shoes, even better
-An open mindset
