WEEK 3 – Short Game Skills
Focus: Chipping, pitching, and putting
Objectives:
• Learn to control distance and direction around the green
• Develop consistent putting stroke
Drills:
1. Coin Drill (Putting): Putt coins or small targets for precision
2. Chipping Circle: Place 5 targets around a hole, chip into them
3. Pitching Ladder: Hit shots to 10, 20, and 30 yards
Practice Schedule:
• 2x Short game sessions
• 1x Range session (continue full swing drills)

WEEK 4 – On-Course & Confidence
Focus: Routine, strategy, and game flow
Objectives:
• Learn to manage the course (club choice, shot selection)
• Develop a pre-shot routine
• Build mental confidence and calm
Drills:
1. Pre-Shot Routine: Visualize, align, breathe, swing
2. 9-Hole Practice Round: Focus on process, not score
3. Post-Round Reflection: Note what felt good or needs work
Practice:
• 1–2 Range sessions
• 1 Short game session
• 1 On-course session
WEEK 2 – Contact & Consistency
Focus: Making solid contact and learning swing basics
Objectives:
• Understand the swing path (back and through)
• Learn ball-first contact
• Build rhythm and balance
Drills:
1. Line Drill: Draw a line on the ground, practice brushing the grass in front of it
2. Feet-Together Drill: Hit balls with feet close to improve balance
3. Tempo Count: Swing to a “1-2-3” rhythm
Range Session (2–3x this week):
• 20 balls: line drill
• 30 balls: wedges and short irons
• 10 balls: full swing with 7-iron
Drills:
1. Mirror Drill: Practice setup in front of a mirror (10 min daily)
2. Grip Reps: Hold correct grip 25 times a day
3. Half Swings: Use a pitching wedge, focus on smooth rhythm
Range Session (2x this week):
• 20 balls: focus only on setup
• 30 balls: slow half-swings (aim for solid contact, not power)
