David is a good as it gets IMO. I'm fairly new to golf as of 2 years ago but have been regularly taking lessons locally with several different instructors. I'm really glad to have found David via my wife since my last instructor that I gained the most wow factor from was found on a trip to Florida, not exactly cost efficient considering I live in California.
David's style is very different from most other instructors. I feel it's very Zen-like. I've been listening to the book, Zen Golf. David I feel embraces this approach. Golf is not only a physical game but more so a mental game. He really helps you to get into the mental zone so you can access your swing.
I've only had 2 lessons with him. My first was a putting lesson & when I implemented that lesson the results were incredible & magical! It was like trick golf with one of my putts. I'm glad I had a few witnesses :-)
The second lesson was more mental, accessing my golf swing. I didn't hear the nines but when I kept in mind to keep my grip light & "focus on the one" at set up, the results were incredible.
I've had the best, most consistent drives ever at my last round! When I was floundering I had to hit "reset the button" (I'm referring to his method of removing the club from your hands at set up so you can relax just before swinging).
I'm pretty confident that by this summer I will break 100!

David, just wanted to say thanks for the lesson today! It's only our 2nd lesson, but the experience so far has been extremely positive! I really appreciate your attention to detail, and ability to see "my" specific issues and opportunities, and how you work with me to make incremental and meaningful progress. After playing off and on for 10 years with inconsistent results, today is the first time I feel I have a solid foundation I can build on to improve. Golf feels exciting and fun again! And I can't wait to learn more from you! Thanks again!!

I have to drive 45 mins each way to meet David, but it was defintialy worth every effort I sent. I had lessons from several other good coaches. David is not like any of them. David would rather explain "why" swing is like this than just tell me what to do. I strongly recommend people who want to learn gof in a efficient way to see David. Learning from Daivd save me at least thoushands ball hitting.

Lessons from Yoda! He will change your game in one lesson. After being a consistent 3, 4, 5 putter, one putting lesson has me 2 putting on a regular basis. His demeanor is calm and supporting and his instruction will absolutely take your game to the next level. After a few lessons, today I broke 100...you will love him!

He inspires her to practice and her swing has improved greatly with his expert advice.
