I have been a Recreation Professional for 25+ years and have been teaching golf to kids and adults for 10+ years. I AM NOT A PRO. I AM NOT A FORMER COLLEGE GOLFER. I am a passionate teacher with the patience to teach the basics to ANYBODY!

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonThe first lesson will be learning terminology and putting. This will include basic terms, stance, grip, and movement. Additionally we will talk about the four basic swings and why we learn to putt first.

Lesson 4-10In lesson 4 we learn full swings. In Lesson 5 we learn equipment necessary to go golfing. In Lesson 6 we learn course management and golf etiquette. In Lesson 7 we have simulated holes. In Lesson 8 we golf!

Lesson 2-3In lesson 2 we transition from putting to chipping. In lesson 3 we transition from chipping to pitching.

Advanced training plan

Youth players

Working with kidsI have worked with kids for 17+ years. Kids respond well to games like see how many putts you can make consecutively, closest to the pin, etc. I have found kids have fewer bad habits to undo.

Working with teenagersI have been teaching teens for 3+ years. Teenagers like having innovative products at their fingertips. Modern golf tech is an easy sell to teenagers that have grown up on phones and tablets.

What you need to bringThe student doesn’t need equipment at first. I can guide the student on how to acquire equipment in a fiscally responsible manner.

What I can bringI can bring a putter and wedge and other necessary equipment.
