Christian's lesson was quite helpful. I liked how we tried different approaches to work toward my goal. Though I still need to build better ball striking for my mid to long irons, I feel like I gained useful insight into my swing. Interestingly, his focus on varied techniques gave me a fresh perspective, and I think that could really pay off with practice. Still, there's room for improvement, but I’m optimistic about trying Christian again.

Christian's relaxed and easy-going personality made the lesson and atmosphere comfortable, I appreciated how I could ask questions without hesitation. The positive feedback on the good things I did and small swing adjustments really helped me see progress. He adjusted his lesson as he got to know me a little more, moving up the pace of I did well and slowing down for when I struggled on adjustments. You can tell he's played all his life and is a natural at golf. Looking forward to having more lessons with him because I feel like I'll improve with his guidance. Definitely like his teaching style and his positive attitude.

In just six months, I’ve gone from shooting around 110 to a personal best of 87, thanks to the coaching of my friend Christian. One of the biggest changes he’s taught me is starting my downswing with my hips instead of my arms, which has added both power and consistency. He’s also helped me correct issues like rolling my wrists, foot alignment, an inside takeaway, and getting into the right setup positions. I’m still working on turning my hips and chest more through the swing and avoiding casting on my downswing, but the progress so far has been huge.
What makes his coaching so effective is that he teaches through “feels” rather than overloading with mechanics, which makes it easier to understand and apply changes right away. Beyond the swing, he’s also shown me course management — how to play from different lies, choose the right clubs, and make smarter decisions to lower my score.
I was actually his first student, and now he’s building his coaching career in San Diego. Based on my progress, I can confidently say his approach really works.

I started working with Christian in 2023 to prepare for the San Francisco Open.
I’ve battled over-swinging since I was a kid. The usual advice from coaches to “swing less” never stuck. Christian had something new: rotate around my left knee and move my left hand a little to the right. Those two mechanical changes subconsciously made me “swing less” without even trying. That’s how his advice works: easy to digest, immediately effective, and still technical when it needs to be.
Beyond the range, we spent time on the course dialing in strategy, short game, and green reading. By 2024, I felt fully prepared—and was fortunate to win my division and bring home the trophy.
Christian coaches the golfer in front of him. Practical, specific, zero ego. He refines what you already do well instead of tearing it all down. You can tell he’s lived the struggle with his own swing, which makes his coaching relatable and sessions feel like breakthroughs instead of grinds.

Christian is a once in a lifetime coach. I came in to golf with no knowledge and even less skill. Christians eye for detail help prune every bad habit and taught me how to really play the game. Any style of coaching over the years I worked with him he could accommodate, focused work on irons, dialing in that driver, different lines to play a hole, or even a little video review. To top it all off, christian is always learning more about the game , and being his student gave me a front row seat in what the best are doing to get better
