About your golf coach

Brian has been playing professionally and teaching golf since 2008, bringing over a decade of experience to his coaching. In the same year, he passed his Playing Ability Test (PAT) as well the 36-hole PGA playing test, solidifying his credentials as a skilled and knowledgeable golfer. Following this achievement, Brian competed in mini-tours across Texas, Georgia, and Florida, gaining invaluable experience in competitive golf. As a coach, he draws on his extensive playing background to offer students a deep understanding of the game, focusing on both technical skill and mental strategy.

Your first lessonFirst lesson will be an initial assessment on the natural ability of the player with a concentration on basic fundamentals.
Lesson 11+We will take what we’ve learned in our first handful of sessions and apply it to 9 hole and then eventually 18 hole rounds of golf. With more of an emphasis on course management and maintaining those solid fundamentals in an on course situation.
Lesson 4-10This is where we can further assess the ability and potential of the new player while also diving into the short game and the importance of routine with each shot whether it’s on the practice range or on the course.
Lesson 2-3Working closely on the basics and continuing to work on fundamentals while also emphasizing the enjoyment of the game. We will also go through the basic rules and etiquette of the game.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThis is our initial assessment of the advanced players full potential and their long term goals of where they would like to get to in the game of golf.
Lesson 11+Really putting in the work mentally as well as physically we must be prepared for any situation that may arise on the golf course. We must be the strongest mentally especially when attempting to reach higher levels and goals. It will be a lot of hard work but will pay dividends in the short term and the long term for the better player.
Lesson 4-10We work more on the golf course with real tournament or match situations. Practicing how we play is very important so the advanced player can feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations.
Lesson 2-3We get to work with more intense practice situations and significant long and short game work. No stone unturned.
Youth players
Working with kidsWorking with kids is always the most important because it’s how we grow the game as professionals. We also most importantly want to make sure the kids are having fun so they are engaged and want to continue to play this amazing game that can open so many doors for them in life.
Working with teenagersTeenagers need to be enjoying themselves just like the younger players so if they aren’t engaged we can’t move forward. We always want it to be hard work but fun at the same time. Balance is the key with the teenage players.
What you need to bringAll students no matter what age or ability should have a full set of golf clubs. They don’t have to be too fancy or top of the line, just a full set so we can accomplish all of our goals big or small.
What I can bringUnfortunately I do not provide any equipment at this time, all players must bring their own gear. It will be more affective for both parties.
