About your golf coach
I've been golfing my entire life and can teach you almost everything you need to know about the game. Golf is 95% mental and the other 5% involves repetition and practice. I played golf in highschool and have been coaching golf and hockey since I graduated from Ferris State University where I earned a scholarship to play Division One hockey! I believe that practice makes perfect and that we can always get better if we truly put our mind to it! I look forward to enhancing your game one swing at a time!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we'll get familiar with the basics of golf, including understanding the rules, etiquette, and essential equipment. We'll also cover the fundamentals of grip, stance, and basic swings to help you reach your golfing goals! I will videotape your swing and send you video tips on what will help you correct your mistakes.
Lesson 11+Finally we'll apply your skills with guided practice sessions, focusing on real-game scenarios. We'll introduce you to advanced techniques like bunker shots and approach shots, and provide personalized feedback to prepare you for competitive play.
Lesson 4-10Now we'll focus on improving your shot accuracy and distance control, practicing with various clubs. We'll work on course management strategies and practice routines to enhance your consistency and confidence.
Lesson 2-3Next we'll build on your initial skills by refining your grip, stance, and swing mechanics. We'll also introduce you to putting and chipping to develop a well-rounded foundation in your short game.
What you need to bringMoney for golf ball rental. A golf glove. If you are left handed, please bring your own clubs. I recommend having a set of your own.
