FIRST LESSON: The Foundation of Fun!
The Goal: Getting you comfortable with the club and hitting your first solid shots.
• The Grip & Stance: We’ll find a setup that feels natural to you, no rigid "textbook" poses, just pure balance.
• Making Contact: Using short irons to get the ball airborne and build your confidence right away.
• The "Secret" to Putting: A quick session on the green to find your "touch" and see those first few balls drop in the cup.
• Course Comfort: A simple intro to navigating the range and course so you feel like you belong from day one.
LESSONS 11+: Master the Course
The Goal: Thinking like a pro to shoot your lowest scores ever.
• Pro-Level Shortcuts: We’ll dive into "scoring shots", like the flop and the punch, so you have an answer for every situation the course throws at you.
• Play Smart, Not Hard: I’ll share my mini-tour insights on "Course Management." We’ll learn how to pick the right targets and avoid the "big mistakes" that ruin a scorecard.
• The Clutch Putting Edge: We’ll master green reading and "pressure putting" drills so you feel calm and confident over those must-make 4-footers.
• The Winner’s Mindset: We’ll work on visualization and focus techniques to help you stay relaxed and "in the zone," no matter the stakes.
• On-Course Coaching: We’ll spend more time on the grass with "Playing Lessons," giving you real-time feedback where it matters most.
LESSONS 4-10: Playing with Confidence
The Goal: Taking your game from the range to the grass.
• Master Every Club: We’ll move beyond the irons to find your rhythm with woods and hybrids. You'll learn to hit the "big clubs" without the big stress.
• The "Save-a-Par" Short Game: I’ll teach you the "easy" way to escape bunkers and hit high, soft pitch shots that stop near the hole.
• Reading the Green: We’ll demystify putting by learning how to "read" the grass and control your speed like a pro.
• Real-World Golf: We’ll walk through actual course scenarios, from your pre-shot routine to managing your "mental game," so you feel prepared for every shot.
• The Fun Factor: By Lesson 10, the goal is total confidence in your bag and a smile on your face when you step onto the first tee.
LESSONS 2-3: The Repeatable Swing
The Goal: Getting you consistent without the "head noise."
• Finding the Sweet Spot: We’ll move into full swings with your mid-irons, focusing on that "pure" feeling of hitting the center of the face every time.
• Power Without Effort: I’ll show you how to use your body—not just your arms—to get more distance with less stress on your back.
• Chipping Secrets: A simple "bump and run" technique to get the ball on the green and close to the hole.
• Distance Control: Master the "long putt" so you can stop three-putting and start having more fun on the green.
Advanced Training Plan:
First Lesson : The Pro Level Audit
The Goal A deep dive into your game to identify exactly where you are leaving strokes on the course.
• The Assessment We will analyze your current ball flight tendencies, miss patterns, and go to shots under pressure.
• Refining the Basics Even the best have setup creep. We will audit your grip, posture, and alignment to ensure your foundation is tour level solid.
• The Development Blueprint We will discuss your specific goals whether it is winning the club championship or breaking 80 and create a customized path to get there.
• Data and Feel We bridge the gap between technical swing mechanics and the on course feel required to perform when it counts.
Lessons 11 and Beyond: Mastery and Elite Performance
The Goal Turn your hard work into lower scores by mastering the transition from the range to the first tee.
Advanced Shot Making We will move beyond the standard swing to master specialty shots. You will learn how to flight the ball for any wind condition and control your spin for precise landings on the green.
Pressure Training I will introduce competitive drills designed to simulate the stress of a real round. This ensures your swing and your mind stay synchronized when the stakes are high.
Elite Scoring Strategy We will refine your course management by focusing on "pro level" shot selection. You will learn how to play to your strengths and eliminate the big numbers that derail a good round.
The Mental Approach We will develop your pre shot routine and visualization techniques. This helps you stay calm, focused, and "in the zone" throughout all 18 holes.
On Course Application These sessions often move to the grass for "Playing Lessons." We will apply everything we have built in real time, giving you the "game awareness" of a seasoned competitor.
Lessons 4 through 10: Performance and Shot Training
The Goal Transition from the range to the scoreboard by turning your skills into lower scores.
Consistency Across the Bag We will work on developing a reliable feel with every club from your wedges to your driver. You will learn how to produce the same high level of execution regardless of the club in your hand.
The Scoring Zone We will spend significant time on your wedges and short game. These are the "scoring areas" where I will show you how to turn missed greens into easy par saves.
Mastering Distance and Trajectory You will learn to control your ball flight height and distance. This allows you to navigate windy days or tucked pins with total confidence.
Specialty Shots We will practice the situational shots you actually face on the course. Whether it is a low punch from the trees or a high soft flop, you will have the "toolbox" to handle it.
Strategic Course Management We will begin to integrate "playing strategy" into your practice. You will learn how to pick smarter targets and manage your misses like a professional.
Lessons 2 and 3: The Precision Foundation
The Goal Establish or refine the core movement patterns needed for long term consistency and elite ball striking.
Mechanical Efficiency We will refine your swing mechanics to ensure your motion is as efficient as possible. This reduces the need for "timing" and helps your swing hold up under the pressure of a tournament or a high stakes round.
Ball Flight Control We will work on improving your contact and controlling your ball flight. You will learn to produce a predictable start line and shape so you can aim with total confidence.
Customized Drills I will introduce specific drills and feels that match your individual learning style. These are the same tools I used as a mini tour competitor to stay sharp without overthinking.
Developing Consistency By the end of these sessions, you will have a clear understanding of your swing and the confidence to replicate it on every hole.
