I have a Bachelor's Degree of Science Landscape Architecture from UMASS Amherst and an Associates Degree for Landscape Contracting from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. I am also a certified Master Gardener with a number of additional certifications and training in sustainable landscape design and maintenance. In 2023, my company was awarded the best landscape gardening business in the city of El Cerrito, CA. Prior to starting my own business, I held positions as a city planning commissioner, landscape designer, director of operations and more. It's very important to me that I not only landscape and garden sustainably, but that I teach clients, friends and families the "how" and "why" to everything, so we can collectively make the environment and world a better place. My personal philosophy is to act locally, think globally. Landscaping and gardening is a practice of sustainable stewardship, providing oxygen to our planet, biodiversity to our home and neighborhood, and an overall positive value to our mental health.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.
And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
