I have taken horn lessons with Jaici since I was a very beginner in 5th grade band. She taught me how to hold the instrument correctly, use the right fingers at the right time, and how to correctly identify pitches and key signatures on the music staff. She also helped me transition from a single F horn to the double horn. She even helped my parents make the right choice in purchasing my own instrument. In lessons we frequently worked on singing skills which helped me have a better understanding of how melodies in the music should sound when playing. Jaici always made a point to help me find music I enjoyed playing while we worked on improving my playing skills. I even continued taking online lessons from her when I moved out of state. I recommend taking lessons with Jaici because she is friendly and helpful for beginners and high school students.

I took horn lessons with Jaici from the time I was in 7th grade until I graduate high school. During this time we worked on many skills and performance techniques. I learned how to transpose in different keys and worked on etudes and solo pieces by many different composers. Jaici helped me prepare for several auditions, including Arizona regionals and All-State, as well as the Phoenix Youth Symphony. I had a great time taking lessons with Jaici and recommend working with her.

I currently take lessons with Jaici on Trumpet. I started taking lessons with Jaici when I was in middle school. She taught me how to expand my range and different intonation and alternate fingering techniques that have helped me in band class at school. She frequently helps me with my concert music for school. I always get to play music I enjoy during lessons with Jaici, and she always challenges me in order to help me get better at playing. I recommend taking lessons with Jaici to have fun and get better at music and brass.

I took private horn lessons with Jaici while I was in middle school and high school. She helped me work on school music, auditions, and marching band shows. She taught me practicing techniques to help me improve on the things I was struggling with. She is very knowledgeable and is very encouraging when I was struggling with range or difficult music. I recommend taking lessons with Jaici to get all the help you need.

When I was completing my degree in Music Education at ASU, I took some private lessons with Jaici. She was a TA for the Horn Studio so I had some lessons with her. Jaici was very knowledgeable and helpful as a teacher. I never felt stressed before going to a lesson with her because I knew she would help me with the things I was struggling with. I enjoyed playing duets and working on advanced playing techniques with her. Now we both work together as music teachers in the same school district! Jaici is a great private lessons teacher and I recommend taking lessons with her.
