Youth players
Working with kidsI adapt my lesson plans based on age and ability. The sessions are less demanding but held to a similar standard. It is more structured around enjoyment and learning the fundamentals more so than being perfect in every rep.

Working with teenagersThe focus for teens is more structured to begin building on the fundamentals the teen should already have while realizing that all teens are not at the same level. I use the β€œiron sharpens iron” method where like skilled teens would train mainly with those of their abilities while also being catalyst for helping teach others. If doing one on ones, I challenge the teen to work a little harder than they believe they can and help them mimic their favorite player’s style while reenforcing the effort that player provides to be excellent.
