-Establishing Mindset

Training 2-3Phase 2
- Stance and start
Great Defensive Lineman are built from the ground up
We will work to prefect your stand and base to fit the scheme you are playing in.
Training 4-10Phase 2 cont.
HHP
Hips, Hands, Feet
High level defensive line play requires VIOLENCE. Your hips are the power source. Your hands deliver the energy from your hips and your feet follow.
We will drill this daily!
Training 11+Phase 3
AATE
Alignment, Assignment, Technique, Execution
This is the phase that is perpetual, we will work with your DL coach to ensure what he and your DC want your alignment and assignment to be in clearly understood and drilled when we work!
This phase incorporates alot of fine tuning attention to details is very important!
Ex.) In a 4-3 scheme a 5tech will likely have the responsibility of setting the edge against the run and rushing the passer in his lane against the pass.(The other 11 men are depending on him) He needs to become comfortable with his inside hand down and inside foot back also aligned and angled to properly do the job. He needs to know his assignment and the situation at all times so he had properly execute his assignment and make plays for his team.
