Playing receiver is more than just running patterns and catching the football. It requires a specific mentality and a wide range of skills that you need to constantly refine throughout your football journey. The secret isn't simply "hard work"; it's about consistently practicing and preparing intentionally based on what you need to improve in relation to the main pillars of receiver play. This approach determines your success and, most importantly, maximizes your experience as a football player in every way. I have taught myself the position since 2019 and transitioned from kicking to receiving my first offers as a receiver after two years. I am now pursuing my own professional career and offering all the knowledge I have in a structured and scalable system that can benefit anyone, from beginners to pros.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDiscussing your goals and evaluating current state of knowledge & abilities to then form a map to refine your weaknesses into fundamental habits that will allow consistent results and lay the foundation for becoming the elite player you envision.
Lesson 11+Now it’s up to the feel of the athlete and we will program these sessions on the fly in the sense that we already have a system for each "pillar" of receiver play scaled to your needs, so the structure stays the same for each part but now the details of mechanics, efficiency, and effectiveness are under a harsher lens. Each player being unique, it is impossible to give you the anatomy of each session especially further down the road because there are too many details to have a cookie cutter plan and it puts a ceiling on each session. The most important thing is feedback and adjustments.
Lesson 4-10Start to introduce 1-2 more staple components of your development since you will understand the teaching points. Now we can just focus on the performance of the drills you have been doing rather than worrying about what those focal points are while also trying to execute the detail.
Lesson 2-3Every situation is unique but you will work on 1-3 things that are most important to your development based on previous evaluation. Detailed enough to be able to work on them outside of our meetings. Usually you will have some type of homework as well that touches on the mental processing side of football.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonTaking the players concerns and needs and meshing them with my philosophy of the important details of receiver play to create a clear map and structure of what needs to be fixed or learned but most often just refined in order to gain the advantage as the gap of skill differences closes with each level you ascend in the sport.
Lesson 11+Refining your specific needs to improve on your scale consistently.
Lesson 4-10Again we are in the process of refinement as advanced players. So working details like release plans vs certain DBs types and their possible alignments, as well as fixing the mechanics of your route movements to enable smoothness, efficiency and effectiveness are going to be common.
Lesson 2-3Feedback and adjustments are the key. They always dictate the focal point of each session. You know what your strengths and weaknesses are, and if you’re unsure i will help with that. It may be something you’ve dealt with for a long time or it maybe be something that you’ve learned from one practice but all things are reversible into something good. The failures or weaknesses are opportunities to improve your game.
What you need to bringClothing you are comfortable training in, cleats, gloves (optional), & water.
What I can bringFootball, Agility Tools, Weighted Sled, and a Theragun (massage gun).
