With over 18 years of comprehensive playing experience, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and a champion’s pedigree to the football field. A standout at Mission Viejo High School, Ryan helped lead the Diablos to a 2002 state championship. Continuing a tradition of excellence, he played a vital role on the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans’ 2004 National Championship team and contributed to the squad’s 2007 Rose Bowl victory. Following a successful college career, Ryan advanced to the professional level, spending three seasons in the National Football League. With a keen eye for talent, he also gained valuable front office experience as an NFL Scout, further refining his understanding of the game from a player evaluation perspective. Transitioning into coaching, Ryan has served as a high school Defensive Coordinator, developing and implementing complex defensive schemes, mentoring young athletes, and helping prepare the next generation of student-athletes for success on and off the field. With the ability to coach any position besides kicker, Ryan brings championship-level insight, technical expertise, and a passion for teaching to every role.
