Lionel brings a wealth of experience as both a former professional football player and a seasoned coach across multiple sports. A standout Defensive Back at Northern Illinois University, he served as Team Co-Captain, earned All-MAC honors, and was awarded MVP at the 2004 Silicon Valley Classic Bowl. Following college, he played as a free agent for the Cleveland Browns and with the Montreal Alouettes. Transitioning to coaching, Lionel spent several years guiding youth athletes as a basketball, track, and junior peewee football coach, and served as a coach for the Georgia Gridiron Classic from 2014-2017. He is passionate about instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience in young athletes.
