Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I’ll figure out the position my client plays this will help me understand what we need to work on also I’ll see what my client goals are and what they are seeking to get from the training they might just want to get faster or work on technique I know each individual have different needs so I have to figure this out first . I specialize with Defensive linemen and linebackers but I am versatile I can work with any position. If the client wants me to train them and don’t want to work on anything specifically the first lessons will be seeing where they are with there speed, footwork, and agility basic footwork drills, speed training, and resistance training with conditioning a small introduction.
Lesson 11+By this time will be incorporating everything we trained in lessons 1-10 in one session and it will be intense. If we need to take breaks we will (breaks will be needed). The conditioning will be intense as well.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 we will work more on agility and balance drills and work more on our position drills towards the end and always finish with conditioning the conditioning will get more challenging and I want to over emphasize the importance of conditioning you can’t perform at a elite level if your out of shape you have to be in shape.
Lesson 2-3The drills that was done in the first lesson will be utilized in lesson 2-3 it will not be intense but will be a bit more challenging with the speed of the drills.We will also go over position drills and always finish with conditioning.
Youth players
Working with kidsI will train kids the same but slower and with more patience.
