Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor the first lesson I will spend time getting to know the student on a personal level. We will discuss what position(s) you play and want to work on and do a basic skill assessment through general drills. This will help determine what the next steps will be.
Lesson 11+Additional lessons will reinforce previous drills and work weβve done while continuing to perform fundamental basics. We will also continue to add new drills so that we can always progress forward!
Lesson 4-10For these lessons we will ramp up to more complex drills depending on skill level.
Quarterbacks will work on pocket presence, blitz avoidance, throwing on the run with different arm angles, and timing/accuracy.
Lesson 2-3For the next two lessons we will work on fundamentals and creating good habits. This includes step by step breakdowns, footwork training, and position specific drills. (Any and all positions welcome!)
Example: Quarterbacks will work on how to hold the ball, proper stance when taking snaps, drops/footwork, and basic throwing mechanical tweaks as needed.
