Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson is typically a general lesson so we can see the current skill level of the athlete. After, we discuss what they expect to gain from my program. In addition define their strengths/weaknesses so we can gear future trainings towards improving both.
For example, observe athletes stretching routine, form & form correction (basketball shooting form) (football pros/cons of proper position stance/posture), basic lateral/ladder/ cone drills etc
Lesson 4-10Lesson 4-10 is where we would ramp things up and try to put the athlete in more game like situations once they have built enough confidence through previous trainings
For example, QB throwing under pressing/on the run, WR working releases, beating presses and catching in traffic etc
Lesson 2-3Implement drills based on what the athlete decides they want to improve in that we would have discussed during the first training.
For example, if an athlete wanted to improve their shooting technique lesson 2-3 is when we would dive more into spot shooting, shooting off the dribble, 1-2 dribble pull ups, pick and pop etc
