Chris works with my son he is transitioning from OL to TE, and it has been an awesome experience. My son loves him, he is extremely profession in his approach, but at the same time he customizes each lesson to the appropriate level of the player. It is obvious he knows how to develop players, his professional experience speaks for itself, but he really is a great teacher. I would highly recommend training with Chris to any serious, committed player that wants to take their skill to the next level.

Chris is an amazing coach...having had no experience whatsoever in playing football he made me feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. His eye for body mechanics and movement is phenomenal!! Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is our introduction, so it will be more general and less specific. The athlete is getting to know me and I’m getting to know the athlete as a person, but I’m also evaluating them to see their biggest areas of strength and weaknesses. Then I can tailor a specific plan.
Lesson 2-3We will be building the fundamentals. My theme is “the only way to mastery is through fundamentals”. When you master or hone in the fundamentals we can build on top of that foundation. By lesson 11 you will still be doing that.
But every session you should see improvement in your footwork, quickness, cognition and cognitive application, football IQ, and catching.
How fast each person progresses depends on the person and every individual is…. individual. I’m not comparing you to anyone else, but yourself.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThis is an evaluation to see if an athlete is actually advanced. Many athletes think they’re advanced because they’ve played for a long time, but in my experience, many of them, haven’t even mastered the fundamentals.
The great thing is that they have an understanding a football so we can progress and accelerate their development a little bit quicker.
After I see the areas of strength and weaknesses out tailor and craft a plan specific for them and trying to get them to mastery/elite as fast as possible. But there are zero shortcuts to this.
Youth players
Working with kidsDepending on the age, I am trying to get kids familiar with football concepts, focus on following instructions, and making it fun. As well as just how to conduct themselves in a football or athletic environment.
Kids have a wide range of backgrounds so there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Working with teenagersMany teens I work with have been around football and in football environments, but one of the main things I try to focus in on is the mental approach to playing football and being a great athlete.
I’m trying to teach them how to set themselves apart to be able to make an impact as they prepare for high school. Everything about this mental approach, prepares them for being young adults and the rest of their lives.
