Beginner training plan
Your first trainingWhen working with a beginner, my first lesson would focus on building a strong foundation while creating a positive and encouraging environment. I would start by getting to know the athlete, understanding their goals, experience level, and what they hope to achieve. From there, I would assess their current abilities and introduce the fundamentals of football, including proper stance, footwork, movement, and basic techniques. I believe it's important not to overwhelm new athletes with too much information at once.
Training 2-3By the second and third lessons, beginners can expect to build on the fundamentals introduced in the first session. We will continue refining basic techniques while introducing more position-specific drills, movement patterns, and football concepts based on the athlete's goals and skill level. As their confidence grows, the intensity and pace of the workouts will gradually increase to help improve speed, agility, coordination, and overall athletic performance. Throughout each lesson, I emphasize proper technique, consistent effort, and a positive mindset. Every session is designed to challenge the athlete while keeping them motivated, ensuring they continue developing their skills and building confidence with every workout.
Training 4-10From the fourth through tenth lessons, beginners can expect to see steady progression in both their skills and confidence. As they become more comfortable with the fundamentals, we'll increase the intensity of training and introduce more advanced drills that improve speed, agility, reaction time, football IQ, and position-specific techniques. Athletes will be challenged through game-like situations that help them apply what they've learned while continuing to reinforce proper fundamentals. Throughout this process, I'll provide consistent feedback, encouragement, and individualized coaching to help each athlete improve at their own pace. By the end of the tenth lesson, my goal is for every athlete to have a stronger understanding of the game, improved technique, increased confidence, and the discipline and work ethic needed to continue developing both on and off the field.
