I am an ISSA certified personal trainer and youth sports coach. I'm a former semi-professional and collegiate athlete and 3x US Army combat veteran. Beginner training plan
Your first trainingLesson 1 will include a warm-up , dynamic stretching, an initial assessment and statement of goals the student will write out and sign with a date of completion. After the foundation is planned, I will introduce the exercises and movements and number of sets and reps for the student to perform which will improve the student's mobility, strength and flexibility over the course of the program.
Training 2-3Following the warm-up and stretching routine, the student will have an increase in difficulty for the resistance exercises. We will also add in 1 to 2 more exercises and movements which will improve mobility, flexibility and strength.
Training 4-10During this time, consistency in performing the exercises and movements correctly and with confidence will be the student's goal. To keep it exciting, unpredictable and fresh, even-numbered lessons will have themes chosen by the student while odd-numbered lessons will have games associated with them.
Training 11+An assessment to see how much improvement has been made since the first workout. If milestones for numbers of high quality reps and self-discipline are met, the student will receive an award and promotion to the next level of training. I will introduce new goals along with planning of the next 10 workout sessions featuring new exercises, challenges and movement goals for the student.

What you need to bring* Water bottle filled with water (16 oz or more) * Towel (for sweat or cooling down) * Comfortable workout clothes (clothes that do not restrict movement but cover the body partially and provide any needed physical support) * Athletic shoes (or cross training sneakers) * Optional items: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, recovery shoes
