Your first lessonLesson 1 – Introduction & Assignment Analysis
Students will learn how to understand an essay prompt, identify requirements, and break down the assignment.
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2–3 – Planning & Thesis Development
Students will brainstorm ideas, choose a topic, develop a clear thesis, and create an organized outline.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4–10 – Writing & Revision
Students will work through the writing process, including drafting paragraphs, using evidence, improving organization, revising, editing, and receiving feedback.
Lesson 11+Lesson 11 – Final Review & Submission
Students will complete final revisions, proofread their essay, check formatting and citations, and prepare the final draft for submission.
What you need to bringStudents should bring any current class materials, textbooks, assignments, notes, study guides, practice tests, writing samples, or specific questions they would like to work on. Students are also encouraged to bring a willingness to learn, participate, ask questions, and engage in the learning process.
