Beginner training plan

Your first lessonEstablish goals and current skill level. Work with snare/wrist work.

Lesson 2-3Recognizing sounds of each drum within a song. Start to work on rhythm, separating foot and hand.

Lesson 4-10Keep working on rhythm, adding drums along the way, including adding fills.

Lesson 11+Working towards being able to play a song (of students choosing) as well as learning different time signatures/off-time beats.
