I have had the pleasure of working with Eldon Simms has been teaching my daughter age 10 to play drums at our apartment for the past few months. She had zero experience and now she knows how to play a song. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, I will ask what they want to learn first. Is it their favorite song that they always wanted to learn how to play?
Lesson 11+Then we'll work on the fundamentals and technical aspects of drumming.
Lesson 4-10From here, we will expound on learning how to read notes and exercises.
Lesson 2-3After teaching them the basics, we will listen to the song and break the song down in parts and how to play them.
