We had lessons with other music schools, and if it's not the right fit for your child, you are basically stuck with one teacher for the entire semester. We tried out piano and drums lessons during this trial, and my son absolutely loved his drumming sessions with Aiden Quevedo. Aiden plays so many different instruments, and he's part of the Royal Hawaiian band! It wasn't just his skill that was impressive, it was his attitude and personality. My son is an introvert, and Aiden had such a genuine, positive, and friendly personality that my son felt comfortable with him instantly. When he ended his lesson, the first thing he said to me was that he really liked this teacher. Aiden has such an outgoing personality that it shows in his music skills. I know that, along with the drumming lessons, Aiden's positive motivations will help my son become more confident.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe go over how to hold the sticks. I teach your first drum beat. And we play to an actual song!
Lesson 2-3We continue to hone on our fundamentals from the last lesson. I write out for you the drum beat to any song that you choose. We start practicing your first chosen song.
Youth players
Working with kidsI utilized a lot of apps, and video play along. I also play songs that kids want to play too. I take requests from students.
