Beginner training plan
Your first classThe first lesson is all about getting comfortable, getting creative, and having fun! We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talking about your artistic interests, and discussing what you’d love to learn. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before or already have some experience, I’ll meet you where you are. We’ll jump into creating art right away so you can start expressing yourself from day one!
Class 2-3In these lessons, we’ll continue building confidence while learning important artistic skills. Beginners will learn foundational techniques like sketching, shading, color mixing, and composition, while intermediate artists will refine their skills and explore new ways to add detail and personality to their work. I encourage students of all ages to ask questions, experiment, and not be afraid to make mistakes—because that’s where growth and creativity happen!
Class 4-10As we continue, lessons become even more personalized based on each student’s interests and goals. We may explore pencil drawing, acrylic painting, pen and ink, markers, mixed media, and more. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to fit children, teens, adults, and seniors at their own pace. My classes are designed to be a welcoming, supportive space where creativity can flourish and students can truly enjoy the process of making art.
Class 11+By this point, students will have developed stronger skills and greater confidence in their artistic abilities. Together, we’ll continue exploring new techniques, tackling exciting projects, and developing each student’s unique artistic style. Whether you’re creating art to relax, express yourself, improve your skills, or pursue a creative passion, my goal is to help you feel inspired, supported, and proud of your artistic journey every step of the way.
