Beginner training plan
Your first lessonOur first lesson will be about the music! We’ll talk about what genre of music you’re interested in playing, what you’d like to achieve and your goals with the sessions, and talk about little bit about music. Then we’ll start by find your tracks! We’ll take time learning how to utilize search features, where to search for music, what to do next after we get the track, and finally programs used for formatting them to play on cdjs. This will set us up for the next lesson.
Lesson 11+We should be at a point we’ll be able to introduce effects and other things used to enhance the tracks using the controller/cdjs.
Lesson 4-10By this time we should know how to beat match! We’ll be continuing practicing blending two tracks together to create a continuous mix. I’ll show you different options used to record the mix, this way you’ll be able to listen back to learn from it.
Lesson 2-3We’ll start with learning how to set up the equipment and spend time reviewing the tracks that were found after lesson one and talk about the structure of the tracks. Then we’ll go on to learning how to beat match. Lots of practice!
