About your cello coach
I am a professional cellist and have taught private lessons for over 30 years. I received my degrees from the University of Cincinnati Conservatory and Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory. I approach all of my students individually, taking in to account their goals and schedules. My main focus is making sure my students play beautifully!

Your first lessonAt your first lesson, I like to find out why you chose cello and your goals as a cellist. It’s fun and helpful to learn about what inspired you to choose cello. I also like to get a sense of what types of music you are interested in learning so that I can curate lessons accordingly. Lastly, I like to know what your practice time between lessons will be so I can give you assignments you can manage successfully.
