I've known Christina Allred for over a decade and really respected her playing and teaching from a professional standpoint. Then last year I asked if she could help me take the plunge as an adult beginner on cello. I wanted combo of traditional training and some rock music reportoire. "No problem!!!" She said! Christina is such an amazing teacher. She is so positive and uplifting! Also thorough. Every minute counts in lessons, but I never feel rushed. Nothing forced. Christina can match her energy to what my needs were for individual lessons. She gets it. Her studio is a peaceful glorious place where I never feel shy or judged. She plays so beautifully. Having the opportunity to learn from someone with her varied background and to play together brings so much to the experience. When she plays it makes me feel like its me playing it. Like it's possible. Big 5 stars for Christina.
