I started boxing in high school due to the fact that I got into a altercation with a individual and that person really humbled me and taught me that you shouldn’t act like a tough guy if you can’t back it up. This was my first fight and I got my butt handed to me but it also showed me that I have the fighting spirit because I didn’t quit even though I got severely beaten. This haunted me and made me realize that it is extremely important to know how to defend yourself. From that day on I became obsessed with boxing and picked up on the fundamentals really quick. I would spend hours daily watching YouTube videos and training with my older cousin who had years of boxing experience. Boxing consumed my life to the point where if I missed one day it felt like a bad day and it is still currently like this. With my experience I have gotten the attention of many coaches and amateur boxers but just never had the time to lock in and start my career. I’ve also taught about 10 people in my whole life the fundamentals of boxing and now they are able to confidently step outside knowing that they can protect themselves if it came down to it. For me boxing is my life and is very therapeutic and I would love to share my knowledge with beginners and novice fighters as I continue my journey to potentially becoming a pro boxer. I’m no expert but I guarantee that I can teach you how to defend yourself with confidence.
