Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAll sessions are based on students experience, goals and abilities. Generally a beginner with zero experience will focus proper stance and positioning, balance, linear and lateral movements and syncing movements.
Lesson 2-3Depending on student’s development and how much they would like to focus on real mechanics it could take a few sessions focusing on the same things as lessons 1.
Lesson 4-10Syncing movements with punches in rhythm and balance. Proper responses and learning my number system. We will use paddles at first and eventually move onto mitts. Once the numbers and responses are down then we focus on perfecting each punch and movement.
Lesson 11+Developing speed with the upper body while maintaining proper mechanics and learning the lower body develops power. Each students learns at their own pace so all of the above could be learned fast or slow. It all depends on frequency of training.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonDepending on their experience we will generally go over what they know. That may consist of shadow boxing and a round of jump rope. This is to evaluate them and then correct or improve what they know and build on that.
