The first session is an in-depth evaluation of the athleteβs skill level, game tendencies, and overall basketball IQ. We focus on identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas that can immediately elevate performance. This includes advanced ball-handling, shooting mechanics under pressure, finishing through contact, and decision-making reads. I also assess how the athlete performs at game speed to build a customized development plan moving forward.
At this stage, the focus shifts to mastery, consistency, and performing at a high level in real game environments. Athletes will refine advanced skill sets, improve mental toughness, and develop a deeper understanding of spacing, tempo, and game flow. The goal is to prepare athletes to compete at the next level with confidence, discipline, and a complete skill set.
During sessions four through ten, training becomes highly specialized based on the athleteβs position, play style, and goals. We incorporate advanced scoring moves, pick-and-roll reads, shot creation, and defensive positioning. Workouts are designed to simulate real game situations, focusing on pace, timing, and decision-making under pressure to translate skills directly into competition.
In sessions two and three, we begin implementing a structured training system focused on tightening fundamentals at a high level while introducing game-speed execution. Athletes will work on advanced ball-handling combinations, shooting off the dribble, and finishing in traffic. Emphasis is placed on efficiency, footwork, and making the right reads in live situations.
