Beginner training plan
Your first trainingThe first session is about much more than basketball. I evaluate each athlete’s current skill level, confidence, mindset, coachability, and goals to create a personalized development plan. From day one, we begin building the six pillars of my program: Character, Mindset, Resilience, Basketball IQ, Decision-Making, and Mental Toughness—because great players are built from the inside out.
Training 2-3As fundamentals improve, we begin developing game habits. Players learn how to think the game, make smarter decisions under pressure, communicate like great teammates, and compete with confidence. Every drill is designed to strengthen both basketball skills and the character needed to succeed in sports and life.
Training 4-10This is where athletes begin separating themselves. We focus on advanced skill development, game IQ, situational decision-making, resilience, leadership, and competing through adversity. Players don’t just become more skilled—they become more disciplined, mentally tougher, and more confident in every aspect of their game.
Training 11+Training becomes fully customized around each athlete’s goals, position, and competitive level. We continue sharpening basketball skills while developing leadership, accountability, resilience, and the habits that create long-term success. My mission is simple: to help every athlete leave not only as a better basketball player, but as a stronger leader, teammate, and person of character.

Advanced training plan
Your first trainingAdvanced players don’t need more random drills—they need greater intentionality. During our first session, I evaluate your strengths, weaknesses, decision-making, basketball IQ, competitiveness, and mental approach to the game. Together we create a personalized development plan built around my six pillars: Character, Mindset, Resilience, Basketball IQ, Decision-Making, and Mental Toughness—the traits that separate good players from great leaders.
Training 2-3Training shifts from skill execution to game application. Every drill is designed to improve reads, reactions, pace, spacing, leadership, and performance under pressure. We challenge your habits, elevate your confidence, and strengthen your ability to make winning decisions when the game is on the line.
Training 4-10This phase is where elite habits are built. We’ll focus on advanced game situations, position-specific development, film study concepts, basketball IQ, situational decision-making, and competing through adversity. My goal is to develop athletes who don’t just play harder—they think faster, lead better, respond with resilience, and consistently make winning plays.
Training 11+Every session becomes fully customized to your goals—whether you’re preparing for varsity, AAU, college recruitment, or the next level. We continually refine your game while developing the leadership, discipline, resilience, and championship mindset that translates beyond basketball. My mission is to help athletes become the kind of player every coach wants, every teammate trusts, and every program is built around.

Youth players
Working with kidsEvery child learns differently, so I make training fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate while building a strong foundation of fundamentals. I use games, positive reinforcement, and achievable challenges to develop confidence, coordination, and a love for basketball while introducing my core pillars of Character, Mindset, Resilience, Basketball IQ, Decision-Making, and Mental Toughness. My goal is to help every child leave smiling, believing in themselves, and excited to keep improving.

Working with teenagersWith teenagers, I train beyond basketball skills by preparing them for leadership both on and off the court. Sessions become more challenging and game-focused, emphasizing basketball IQ, decision-making, resilience, accountability, and mental toughness while helping athletes compete with confidence and purpose. I coach each player like a future leader, because the habits they build now will impact far more than the next game—they’ll shape who they become in life. These responses capture your philosophy and subtly communicate to parents: “You’re not just hiring a basketball trainer—you’re investing in someone who will help develop your child’s character.” That’s a rare value proposition and one that aligns perfectly with your life’s work.

Jake
Coach Theo helped me become a much smarter basketball player. My ball handling, shooting, and confidence improved, but what really changed was how I think during games. He challenged me to be a leader, stay mentally tough, and never let mistakes define me. I look forward to every workout because I always leave better than I came.
JD
I’ve trained with different coaches over the years, but Coach Theo is different because he develops the person as much as the player. His focus on basketball IQ, decision-making, leadership, and mental toughness helped elevate my game and gave me confidence in pressure situations. Every workout has purpose, and every conversation leaves you motivated to become your best.
Kingston
Coach Theo made basketball fun while pushing me to work hard every session. He teaches way more than skills—he taught me discipline, resilience, and how to compete with confidence. My parents noticed a difference in my attitude at home and at school, not just on the court.
Riley
Coach P.T. believed in Riley before she believed. He helped her become more confident with the ball, improve shooting, and understand the game at a much higher level. What I appreciate most is that he cared about our daughter as a person, constantly encouraging her to be resilient, lead by example, and never settle for less than my best. — Mom
Marcus
Every workout with PT had a purpose. Even when we competed playing ball together at the gym. He doesn’t just tell you what to do—he teaches you why, which completely changed the way I see the game. My basketball IQ, decision-making, confidence, and mental toughness all improved, and I became a better teammate and leader because of his coaching.
