Your first trainingFirst lessons are always an evaluation. I include: dynamic warm ups, ball handling, passing, and some shooting drills. I keep it light and fun.
Training 2-3After the evaluation session, we’ll spend time on foundational drills including: skill appropriate ball handling, passing, shooting, and defensive drills.
Advanced training plan
Your first trainingAdvanced players are generally competing on teams, so I focus on higher level skill work, footwork, and try to include drills and exercises that mimic their level or higher. These sessions are intense.
Youth players
Working with kidsRather than a hard nosed and heavy rep based session, I focus on age and skill appropriate drills that can be improved upon over time. I spend much more time teaching in these sessions
Working with teenagersTeenagers are still learning foundational skills and drills, but they are finding what areas they stand out in and what areas need to be improved upon. I make sure to incorporate drills and exercises that address these needs.
