Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDiagnose their skill level by simply letting them shoot around/warm up. Teach bounce pass and chess pass technique, shooting mechanics from a very close range, lay ups.
Lesson 11+Reinforcement of previous lessons. 3 point shooting, scoring with contact for And 1 opportunities, scoring and facilitating off of pick n rolls
Lesson 4-10Mid range shooting, dribbling/passing on the move, dribbling to create shot separation against defender (me), transition scoring and facilitating
Lesson 2-3Reinforcing lesson one. Adding defensive stance/slides, stationary dribbling with eyes up, pivot foot, cutting
