Beginner training plan
Your first training sessionI begin with a more formal introduction of myself and detail the various drills each workout will consist of. Starting with basic fundamentals, I'm able to guage the player's skill level and make mental notes for future workouts, while giving contructive criticism. As the workout comes to a close, I then ask the player what areas of the game are they looking to improve upon. This helps me create a workout routine, along with my personal notes, for the upcoming workouts.
Training Session 2-3A second workout would consist of review of the previous workout as well as a review of the workout game plan. From here, we get to work. I like to use a hands on approach, demonstrating and sometimes doing the drills along with the player.
Training Session 4-10Once the fundamentals are understood and demonstrated proficiently, I start to buid from the ground work. Adding more repetitions and setting target goals to reach each session.
Training Session 11+More reps. Continuing to build from prior workouts, I begin to add layers to the each drill.
